Department of geography has offered undergraduate programme since 2011 and is now offering postgraduate programme as well. The former heads of the department were Daw Khin Mya Nyunt, Dr U Pwar, Dr Thi Thi Than. Dr Mya Mya Soe is the current professor and head of the department of geography.
